Beginning October 5, 2020, our office displayed public notices informing customers that they would need to provide a case number for this office to find your case efficiently and accurately.

• You can find your case number by clicking on the URL below or visiting one of the public kiosks located throughout the Washington County Circuit Court.
• We cannot search for your case by your name, nor can this office certify that a record does not exist.
• We cannot complete a form on your behalf, except for a person requesting an ADA Accommodation.

Marriage Licenses/Civil Ceremonies:

• Applications can be made in-person at 24 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740
• Civil Ceremonies are conducted as follows:
  • By appointment only:  9:00 am – noon and 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Per local Administrative Order – limited to the nine persons (including the parties being married and the officiant)

Business Licenses:

• Renewals can be submitted by mail or in-person

• Instruments can be submitted by SimpliFile, mail, or in-person
