Orders Administratively Suspending and Decertifying Attorneys and Orders Reauthorizing the Practice of Law

This page includes orders that administratively suspend attorneys who have not paid their annual CPF assessments or that decertifiy attorneys from the practice of law because they did not file annual pro bono and IOLTA compliance reports. Also on this page are orders reauthorizing administratively suspended or decertified attorneys to practice law when they have completed their annual obligations.

Information on attorney compliance requirements and how to come back into compliance after temporary suspension or decertification is available here.

To check the status of an attorney, please go to the Maryland Attorney Listing, an index of all attorneys who have been admitted to the bar of the State of Maryland. Any attorney whose status is listed as "active" is considered in good standing.
